CRAZY RASBERRY ANTS were first discovered in 2002 on the south end of Pasadena near Red Bluff and Bayarea Blvd. Since then they have been found in Deer Park, LaPorte, Pearland, Texas City, Dayton, Conroe, East Columbia, Friendswood, several areas in Houston, Baytown, Manvel area, Wharton County and Fannett. There are suspected infestations in other counties which have not been confirmed at this time. 7/20/2008
We will be giving a class on Crazy Rasberry Ants for all county extension agents on 8/12/2008 at 8:30 am & CEU classes for AG credit later that afternoon. I will post more information when it becomes available.
